MK Marine Solutions has a consultancy division that specializes on dry dock logistic solutions for Shipping Lines with a focus on the Cruise Ship sector. With a total of 52 dry docks and new builds attended globally we have the expertise to manage your in service dry dock logistics projects.

We can work on any size project that includes the ramp up preparations prior to the dry dock, negotiate with the shipyard on the equipment and requirements for the dockside preparation.. Once the Ship arrives the MK Marine team will be onsite to work with nominated freight forwarders, shipyard and onboard ship personnel to ensure delivered results from beginning to conclusion for your dry dock needs. We can also offer services to manage the garbage and waste offload with a dedicated team on standby.

Globally our services differ from location and shipyard however as we have completed dry docks in many of the Shipyards and Shipping Lines globally we have a close cooperation and can accommodate to the individual requirements of the Customer.

Recent Projects that MK Marine have managed successfully

Stretch Projects - Windstar

Working in Palermo Shipyard, MK Marine representatives have been onsite for 2020 assisting Windstar to manage the in dry dock logistics for the Stretch Projects and incoming warehouse movements, forklifts moving equipment to the dockside and urgent local sourcing requirements.

Mein Schiff 4 TUI

Assisting the TUI Cruises team for their 12 day dry dock of the Mein Schiff 4 in Marseilles, MK Marine was contracted to manage all the dockside and onboard loadings and offloads. In addition garbage and waste management offloads was undertaken by the MK Marine team.

Scrubber Install – Royal Caribbean

MK Marine was contracted to manage a complex 41 day project for the Scrubber installation onboard the Voyager of the Seas in Tuas Shipyard in Singapore. MK Marine assisted to prepare a specific loading plan to load equipment and oversize materials and was onsite to oversee the Shipyard equipment requirements and labour to ensure the daily timelines were met.
